Childrenswear

We need 10 childrens woven dress spec packs for Autumn Winter 2012.
Dresses need to follow current trends.
These will be sold to our customers in the UK, France & Germany.
Target customer age range 4-12 years old.
We would also expect to see a mood board for AW 2012 girlswear to back up your designs.
Garments will be manufactured in China so experience working with Chinese suppliers would be beneficial.
We expect full spec packs including all measurements and any hardware details, label placements etc.
Any details need to be enlarged with full measurements.
Spec packs need to be very clear and comprehensive, ideally in illustrator format.
Samples will be made for age 6.
You must provide details of what the base fabric will be, weight composition etc.
All colours need to be provided with a pantone reference.
After your bid is accepted we will expect to see 20 rough sketches via e-mail from which we will choose the final 10 for you to then fully spec up.

Hi

I have experience working with childrenswear, especially toddlers, girls and tweens.

All my designs include print designs that I will send in a TIFF format for digital printing or JPEG format for screen printing.
I also concentrate on trimmings and detailing to make the product even more desirable for your target audience.

Tomorrow I am going to Premier Vision in Paris to research key trends for this Winter and next year. I am always up to date with trend analysis research and always develop fresh, functional and sophisticated designs with all information including fabric weights and garment measurements.

I develop all my designs on Adobe Illustrator and add the CAD designs including measurements to a Excel specification sheet.

I can provide you with fully detailed and informative specification sheets with measurements, fabric weights and special construction details.

Just recently finished working with an American children-swear brand, designing underwear, swimwear, casual wear, activewear and handbags / purses for toddlers, girls, and tween-wear. All designs included fabric weights, dimensions, prints and fabulous trimmings.

I have clothing manufacture contacts in Bangladesh and India that I work alongside on a daily basis for other clients. I am fully aware of what the requirements are when working with clothing factories and can provide you with a professional and fast service.

I am interested in working on this project. I am new to this website so just wanted to know whether I would have to send you a moodboard and colourchart first in order to get the job or will you chose who you are going to work with and then you expect everything by the 23rd December?
I designed Girl's collectiones before and also have worked with chinese suppliers. I designed the kids collection for 2012 for Melissa Odabash.
