Protecting your feedback
You must always try to protect your feedback. Its basically a personal recommendation of your skills from other companies so its worth its weight in gold.
Good feedback is very influential. Companies will always choose a designer with great feedback over one who has mediocre or even negative feedback. To stand the best chance of receiving the best possible feedback always do the following:
When bidding on projects read the description very carefully. Make sure you understand exactly what is required of you & in what time frame.
Be sure that you have the time & expertise to compete the work to a high standard in the format required. Delivering the work on the deadline is extremely important.
If you have any questions make sure you ask them & have them answered to your satisfaction before placing a bid.
If you feel that the amount of work is too much in comparison with the budget on offer. Do not bid. This is the maximum the company is willing to pay & you will not be able to negotiate half way through the project.
